- Conditions apply. TELUS offers the fastest download and upload speeds of up to 5 Gbps compared to any other major internet service provider in your neighborhood. TELUS is the only major provider in your neighborhood with a 100% fibre optic connection to the home. Fibre optic technology is based on light signals which is not impacted by the capacity constraints and environmental stresses that affect traditional copper wire or Hybrid Fibre Coax (HFC) networks. That means a fast, consistent connection to your home. Not available in all areas. Individual results may vary depending on location, usage within the home network, number of connected devices on the speed profile, applicable network management or server configurations.
- Wi-Fi 7 is the latest Wi-Fi technology, based on the IEEE 802.11be standard. Wi-Fi 7 introduces groundbreaking technologies to enhance speed, combining ultra-wide 320 MHz channels with 4K-QAM data encoding. For stability, it uses Multi-Link Operation (MLO), which lets a device maintain a seamless connection by simultaneously using multiple bands to instantly bypass interference. To experience the full benefits of Wi-Fi 7, a compatible device and a corresponding high-speed internet plan are required. Actual speeds and reliability will vary based on your unique environment, including home layout, network congestion, and distance from the access point. Not available in all areas. New TELUS PureFibre customers on 1 Gig or higher plans are eligible for Wi-Fi 7. Other restrictions may apply including but not limited to availability. Existing TELUS Internet customers may not be eligible. Final eligibility to be determined at TELUS’ sole discretion. For more information on Wi-Fi 7 capabilities visit telus.com/WiFi.
