We're updating our approach to align with new provincial regulations and municipal bylaws. We've introduced charges for reusable bags to comply with these regulations and promote sustainability.
Let’s restore our forests, together
When you purchase a reusable bag at TELUS stores, the proceeds will go towards tree replanting efforts in Canadian post-wildfire zones. Since 1998, we've planted over 19 million trees to help combat climate change and protect biodiversity.
Our new reusable bags
We’re selling new reusable bags for $3 each in all TELUS corporate stores and kiosks across the country.
Post wildfire reforestation
Since 2023, wildfires have burned over 20 million hectares across Canada. This is roughly 3.5 times the size of Nova Scotia. Every bag purchased funds the planting of a tree in an area impacted by wildfires.
100% recycled cotton
By producing bags made from recycled cotton, we’re minimizing the need for new materials and using fabric that’s already on the market
