To achieve this, we have enabled $300 million in cash donations, in-kind contributions, and investments since 2000, to plan, respond and aid those impacted by natural disasters and other crises worldwide.

Supporting the community affected by the tragic Lapu Lapu festival incident in Vancouver
In response to this heartbreaking event, TELUS is supporting the Filipino community and all those impacted.
What we are doing
- Donating $20,000 to local charities to support those impacted.
- Ensuring access to emotional support through a free community crisis hotline provided by TELUS Health®. Call 1 844 751-2133 for free professional emotional support and/or referral to community resources. This resource is available to anyone in Canada. This is in addition to support provided through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) helpline for eligible employees of our clients in Canada.

Supporting our customers, retirees, and team members
At TELUS, we support individuals and communities affected by natural disasters and other emergencies, ensuring that lines of communication remain safely open during times of crisis. Other ways we support include:
- Waiving domestic voice, text and data overage fees to and from impacted areas to help customers stay in touch with loved ones
- Activating the free TELUS Health® Community Crisis Support line open 24/7
- Expediting TELUS Health prescription deliveries
- Delivering adult and youth disaster relief kits with essential items to those who were evacuated
- Providing rapid response donations to local relief organizations
